Our life now

Snuggled up really warm and sleeping we were woken up and put on the cold floor by the grandmom person.  She went down the hall towards the litter pan, huh maybe she had to go to the potty too, No she walked right past it on down the hall.  Me and Peanut were sitting there looking down there and it was really dark and scary!  We decided to stay where we were and not go down there.  The mom person called us "psss, psss, ssss" was all she kept saying.  I guess she wanted us to go to her.  Then she got up and grabbed both of us, wrapped us up in her sweatshirt.  OH NO I think she is going to smother us.  I tried to act brave but I was too scared, I was shaking really bad. Too scared to fight and too scared to run away.  She sat on this really high thing, me and Peanut could not even jump up there, she had to pick us up and put us there. 
On no I want to get down. 
Over to the edge I crept, Not Peanut she was happy snuggling. 
I wanted to get down and run around. 
Should I jump?  Should I just slide off? 
Maybe I will just close my eyes and slide down. 
Ok here I go.  ON NO!!  Whew good thing cats land on their feet   I was free!
 Meow. Come on down Peanut this is fun.  So many places to hide. 
The mom person put Peanut on the floor with me and we were free to act like kittens.
Then we were allowed to run around.  We ran all over. Down the hall but only so far it was too scary and dark.  We ran around and around.  No cars!  No other cats! only that nasty old cat who just wanted us to be out of there.  She really just hid from us or would snarl at us and walk away.  The mom person would try to get her to be calm but she wasn't having that.  All we know was this was great.  Warm, snuggly, and plenty of food.  The hardest part was running to the litter pan.  Please let me get there in time, I guess I should have started earlier to run in here.  Hurry Hurry.  Phew I made it!  Back out to play. 
Running around having fun then OH NO the big old nasty cat is looking at us!  The mom person told her to be quiet again, she was not having any of it....
We found this really great hiding place and only we could fit cause we are small enough.  I do not think anyone will find us here.  I think we scared the mom person! 
She is crawling around the floor,  "pssss, pssss, come here little kittens"  "where are the little kittens?"
"pssss, pssss, come on out little kittens!
Me and Peanut are hiding maybe we should just run out there and keep our hiding place secret. 
"Come on Peanut lets go, we don't want them to know this spot."   
Out the two of us ran.  There was this spot right off the kitchen where no one would step on us we would snuggle up together.  Just like we always did. We slept together since the day we were born, never separated.
